Ask your AI app about your bookings and events.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI app to SG Homeschool Events. Parents ask what they owe and when. Organisers ask who has paid and pull the attendee list. It takes two minutes, and you sign in with a code we email you.

1. Copy the address

https://events.sghomeschoolcommunity.com/mcp

2. Add it to your AI app

  • Claude

On claude.ai, press the + in the message box, then Connectors, Add connector (or Customize, Connectors, Add, Add custom connector). Name it SG Homeschool Events, paste the address, press Continue, Add, then Connect.

  • ChatGPT

On chatgpt.com in a web browser, open Plugins, press Add, then Add custom MCP server. Name it SG Homeschool Events, paste the address, leave Authentication on OAuth, and sign in when our page opens. The phone app can't add it yet, but uses it once it's added.

  • Gemini

On gemini.google.com, Settings, Personal Intelligence, Connected Apps, then Custom. Paste the address, accept, and sign in when our page opens.

  • Grok

At grok.com/connectors, New Connector, Custom. Name it SG Homeschool Events, paste the address, press Add Connector, and sign in when our page opens.

  • Claude Code, Cursor and other tools

Add a remote MCP server over HTTP at the address. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http sg-homeschool-events https://events.sghomeschoolcommunity.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.

Can't find the setting? Paste this into your AI app and it walks you through it:

I want to add SG Homeschool Events to you as a connector (also called a custom MCP server or plugin). I add it myself in your web version, in a browser; phone apps often can't add one yet, but use it once it's added. Its address is https://events.sghomeschoolcommunity.com/mcp. It signs in with OAuth: there is no API key, and any client ID and client secret fields stay empty, because it registers you automatically. Walk me through adding it in this app, one step at a time, and wait for me to say "done" after each step. When it's added, tell me what I can ask.

3. Sign in with your email

Your AI app opens our sign-in page. Type the email you book with, or the one you created your event with. We email you a six-digit code; type it in and press Connect. Your AI app then sees the bookings made with that email and the events you organise with it, nothing else.

4. Ask

If you're a parent

  • What homeschool events are open this month, and which still have places?
  • Do I still owe anything for my bookings? How much, to which PayNow number, and by when?
  • Am I still on the waitlist for the museum trip? What number am I?
  • Did I put down the right allergies for my kids on the forest walk?

If you organise events

  • How is my forest walk doing? Places left, waitlist, and money collected so far.
  • Who has uploaded payment proof but isn’t marked paid yet? Show me the screenshots.
  • Mark the Tans and the Lims as paid.
  • Give me a table of every child with their allergies and shirt size, for the morning of.
  • Here are the theatre’s ticket links. Give every paid family their seats together, show me, then email them.

What it can and can't do

It can list open events, show a parent their bookings and what to do next, and show an organiser their bookings, payment screenshots and everyone's answers. An organiser's AI can also mark a booking paid (the parent gets their confirmation, as from your admin page) and hand out the venue's tickets: it matches each paid family to their seats and links, the site checks every count and that no link is given twice, and when you say send, each family is emailed their own links. Families then see them on their booking page.

It can't book, cancel, accept a waitlist place or pay for anyone: it gives you the link and you do it on the site. It emails only the families of your own event, about their booking or tickets, and it can't see bookings made with another email address.
